US LNG Supplier Venture Global Seals 20-Year Deal with Chinese Firm

Venture Global, a leading US supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG), has agreed to deliver 0.5 million metric tons per annum of LNG to China Gas over the next 20 years.

The deal is part of Venture Global's sales and purchase agreement with China Gas, one of the largest natural gas operators in China.

Venture Global CEO Mike Sabel said: 'Venture Global is pleased to expand our LNG partnership with China Gas, supplying the country's growing energy needs with reliable, low-cost American LNG from across our Louisiana projects.'

The move comes as energy markets face pressure due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has led to a supply-side squeeze and prompted importers to look for alternatives.
