US Markets Drift Amid Paused Tensions with Iran
The markets on Wall Street experienced a mixed closing day as crude oil prices declined following a pause in U.S.-Iran tensions and renewed negotiations to end the conflict.
The S&P 500 index rose by less than 0.1%, recovering from two consecutive weekly losses, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.5%.
However, the Nasdaq composite dropped 0.2% for its fourth straight decline.
