US Military Destroys Three Iranian Oil Tankers Linked to IRGC
The US military has destroyed three Iranian oil tankers linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to CENTCOM.
The ships, M/T Downy, M/T Stark 1, and M/T Kylo, were targeted after US warships came under Iranian fire. The crew of M/T Kylo was directed to abandon ship before it was completely destroyed in the Gulf of Oman.
CENTCOM said the ships were part of a multibillion-dollar shadow network that funds the IRGC and its regional proxies. 'Iran has no means by which to defend them,' CENTCOM stated.
