US Natural Gas Prices Rise Amid Unseasonable Warmth

Natural Gas prices have risen by 0.97% in recent trading, reaching ₹280.5 per unit as unseasonably warm weather continues to boost cooling demand expectations.

The Midwest and eastern United States are experiencing above-average temperatures, leading power generators to burn more gas for electricity generation.

Average US Lower 48 gas production increased to 112.9 billion cubic feet per day in September from 112.2 bcfd in August, indicating continued strong supply.

The LSEG expects average Lower 48 demand, including exports, to decline to 107.6 bcfd next week from 109.7 bcfd this week.
