US Oil, Gas Production Hits Record High Under Trump Agenda
US oil and natural gas production has reached an all-time high, making the country the world's largest producer of both, according to Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
The milestone was achieved thanks to the efforts of American oil and gas workers, who have driven production to new heights.
In a tweet, Wright stated that President Donald Trump's energy agenda would build on this success by expanding US energy production, strengthening the economy, and lowering costs.
Wright also noted that more than 15 million barrels of oil and petroleum products moved through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, nearing pre-war levels of about 20 million barrels per day.
