Oil prices continued to rise in US markets on Thursday, with Brent crude up 0.6% at $96.23 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) gaining 1.2% to $92.12.

Oil prices have been on an upward trend in recent days, with Brent crude breaking through the $95 mark and WTI reaching new highs.
