US Poised to Dominate Global LNG Market by 2030
US liquefied natural gas supply is expected to make up about 30% of the global total by 2030, according to ExxonMobil executive Peter Clarke. Speaking at an energy forum in Bangkok, Clarke noted that the US has emerged as a major LNG supplier and North America is one of the largest producing regions for gas in the world.
Clarke emphasized that there is enough supply to meet both domestic market demands and export needs. This development marks a significant shift in the global LNG market, with the US poised to become a major player.
