US Pressure Fails to Deter Iran's Oil Revenues
Iran's oil revenues have defied US economic pressure, reaching over $1 billion in just two weeks. According to Fars News Agency (FNA), this influx of foreign currency has strengthened the Central Bank's ability to meet Iran's foreign currency requirements.
The latest figures follow a data release by Iran's Oil Ministry in late August, showing that $7.5 billion generated from oil sales between March 21 and July 22 had been transferred to the Central Bank.
Iranian officials have rejected US pressure, arguing that economic measures will not force them to change course. They also claim that Washington lacks the ability to build an effective coalition against Tehran.
