US Stock Indices Futures Show Mixed Pre-Market Performance Amid Tensions
Futures on major US stock indices showed mixed pre-market performance as investors remained cautious ahead of key data releases and the escalating US-Iran military conflict.
The Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.48%, while S&P 500 futures dropped 0.18% and Dow 30 futures rose 0.04%. Gold prices briefly dipped below $4,300/oz, and international oil prices turned lower intraday due to renewed tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Memory chip stocks generally declined, with SK Hynix falling 1.64%, Micron Technology down 1.13%, Western Digital dropping 1.63%, Seagate Technology decreasing 1.49%, and SanDisk down 1.03%. In contrast, GitLab surged over 23% after reporting strong Q2 fiscal 2027 revenue growth of 21% year-over-year.
Dell Technologies also rose over 10% in pre-market trading, with its Q2 revenue increasing 58% year-over-year to $47 billion. MongoDB fell over 14%, despite beating market expectations with a 30.5% YoY revenue increase.
