US Stock Market Rallies as Oil Prices Fall and Inflation Concerns Ease
The US stock market saw a significant rally on Monday, driven in part by falling oil prices and eased concerns about inflation.
The S&P 500 jumped 1.5% to an all-time high, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 693 points or 1.3%, also hitting its own record.
Brent crude sank 4.7% to $83.77 after President Donald Trump announced he would hold off on new strikes against Iran at the urging of regional allies.
This move helped ease worries about the global flow of crude, causing Treasury yields to fall in the bond market.
