US Stocks Rebound on Falling Oil Prices and Tech Sector Revival

Stocks on Wall Street are rebounding today due to declining oil prices, which has boosted risk appetite. The Nasdaq (US100) is leading the charge with a gain of 0.3%, while the DJIA (US30) and S&P 500 (US500) have also risen by 0.05% and 0.1% respectively. The rebound in oil prices is being driven by continued concerns over global supply and demand, which has weighed on energy stocks.

The tech sector is also benefiting from the improved sentiment, with AI-related companies such as Nvidia (+1.7%), Micron (+1.7%), and Intel (+1.6%) rising sharply. Other notable gainers include data center energy provider Fluence (+2.9%) and chipmaker AMD (+3.75%). In contrast, defensive sectors such as energy and consumer goods are largely posting losses.

The rebound in AI-related stocks is a welcome relief after recent concerns over debt levels and the anticipation of Nvidia's earnings report. The sector has been under pressure due to rising US bond yields and fears over the sustainability of AI company debt levels.
