US Strikes Iranian Oil Tanker Near Kharg Island
The United States has escalated its aggression against Iran by targeting an Iranian oil tanker near Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf. According to reports, several explosions were heard on Saturday from the direction of the island, and a local source confirmed that an Iranian tanker was struck about six nautical miles from the island after being targeted by four projectiles fired by US forces.
The attack caused no casualties, but the crew was evacuated from the vessel. Authorities are investigating the extent of the damage and the precise circumstances of the attack.
This is not the first instance of US aggression against Iran in recent days. On Monday, US armed forces attacked Iran's Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, martyring three people. On Tuesday, US missile strikes hit three locations near Ahvaz and Aghajari in Khuzestan Province, martyring seven people and wounding eight others.
Iran has responded to these attacks with retaliatory missile and drone strikes against US military positions in Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The Iranian Armed Forces have warned that any continuation of US military aggression would trigger 'heavier, broader, and more devastating responses,' cautioning countries cooperating with the US military that they would face the consequences.
