US Strikes Iranian Oil Tankers Amid Escalating Gulf Tensions
The US military has struck three Iranian crude oil tankers in the Gulf region, according to CENTCOM. This move is a response to recent attacks on US naval ships by Iran.

The Iranian oil tankers targeted were part of a 'multibillion-dollar shadow network' that funds the IRGC and its regional proxies, according to CENTCOM.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated on X that the US will continue to strike Iranian crude tankers every time a US ship is attacked, saying 'it's simple: if Iran shoots at US ships, we will destroy (and sink) their oil tankers.'
