The US has issued new sanctions on Iran-related entities and tankers, targeting eight vessels and ten companies. The move comes after US President Donald Trump vowed to hit Iran hard following a reported ballistic missile launch towards American forces in the Middle East.
Six of the targeted entities are based in China, according to a notice posted on the US Department of Treasury's website.
