USDA Data and Stronger Brazilian Corn Exports Fail to Boost US Prices
Corn futures opened Friday morning with modest strength after posting gains to round out Thursday's trade.
The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price rose by 1.5 cents to $4.09 3/4, while nearby contracts were up 2-3 cents at the open.
The USDA reported export sales data for corn, showing a marketing year low of 116,740 MT for 2025/26, which was 31.5% below the same week last year.
Brazilian corn exports in July totaled 1.943 MMT, down 21.16% from the same month last year, according to government data.
