USDA Feedstuff Market Data Bundle Reveals Price Fluctuations Across Regions

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its weekly feedstuff market data bundle on August 28, 2026. The reports cover ag energy, animal by-products, grain and oilseed processor feedstuffs, and mill feeds.

In the National Weekly Ag Energy Round-Up, ethanol prices were reported in ranges for various states. Biodiesel B100 (SME) prices were listed for Iowa/Minnesota and Illinois/Indiana/Ohio. Crude soybean oil prices ranged from 69.35 to 75.59 cents per pound across several regions.

The National Animal By-Product Feedstuff Report showed choice white grease in Minnesota at 68.00-71.00 cents per pound, unchanged from the previous week. Blood meal porcine was quoted at $1,100.00-$1,350.00 per ton, while ruminant blood meal ranged from $1,420.00 to $1,425.00 dollars in Central U.S., California, and Minnesota.
