USDA Feedstuff Market-Data Bundle Shows Mixed Price Movements Across Regions
The USDA released its weekly feedstuff market-data bundle on September 11, 2026. The report covers various regions and includes prices for ethanol, biodiesel, biomass, crude soybean oil, and other commodities.
In the ag energy round-up, Iowa ethanol was quoted at $1.87 per gallon, while Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, the Eastern Cornbelt, and Wisconsin were unquoted. Biodiesel B100 (SME) prices for these regions were also not available.
The USDA report also listed various animal by-product feedstuff prices. Meat and bone meal ruminant 46-50 percent was quoted at $495.00 per ton in the Central US, with an average price of $495.00 and a year-ago value of $325.00 on an FOB-T basis.
The grain and oilseed processor report listed cottonseed meal 41 percent for CA-San Joaquin Valley at $300.00 per ton on an ask basis, unchanged from the previous week's average price of $300.00 and a year-ago value of $189.60.
