USDA Feedstuff Prices See Moderate Gains Amid Market Fluctuations
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its weekly feedstuff market data bundle on August 14, 2026. The report covers various commodity categories including ag energy and animal by-products. Ethanol prices in Iowa ranged from $1.77 to $1.85 per gallon.
Biodiesel B100 (SME) prices were listed for Iowa/Minnesota and IL/IN/OH. Crude soybean oil prices ranged from 67.74 to 72.74 cents per pound in various states. Crude corn oil, tallow, and grease prices were also included.
The animal by-product report showed Minnesota choice white grease at 68.00-71.00 cents per pound, up 1.00 cent from the prior week. Blood meal porcine was quoted at $1,000.00-$1,350.00 per ton, while ruminant blood meal ranged from $1,100.00 to $1,350.00.
