USDA Grain Bids Report: Wheat Prices Decline Across Multiple Regions

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its daily state grain bids report for September 8, 2026. The report covers multiple regions and provides information on wheat, corn, and soybean prices.

In Kansas, terminal elevator bids for ordinary protein wheat were quoted at a basis of -35 cents per bushel, unchanged from the previous session. This translates to a price of $7.6725 per bushel, down 13.25 cents compared to the previous day.

The Illinois report showed Chicago terminal bids for ordinary protein wheat ranging from -30 to -5 cents basis, with prices between $7.04 and $7.29 per bushel. This represents a decline of 20.25 to 7 cents compared to the previous session.
