USDA Grain, Rice, and Pulse Market Data Shows Steady Prices and Gains
The USDA released its weekly grain, rice, and pulse market data on September 8, 2026. The report covered late August to early September and showed that long and medium grain milled rice prices in the South were steady. Similarly, parboiled rice, second heads, brewers, and rice by-products also held steady in both the South and California.
The CME Rough Rice futures settlements for August 31, 2026, indicated gains: September 2026 closed 0.195 higher at 15.25, November 2026 rose 0.180 to 15.725, and January 2027 increased 0.200 to 16.13.
The USDA AMS National Weekly Non-GMO/GE Grain Report showed that premiums for Non-GMO/GE soybeans were steady, while premiums for Non-GMO/GE feed corn were lower compared to the previous week.
