The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released revised estimates for Ukraine's agricultural crop production, showing significant increases in wheat and corn yields. The 2026/2027 marketing year forecast indicates that wheat production is expected to reach 25.4 million tons, a 1.4 million ton increase from previous estimates.

The USDA also lowered the export volume estimate for wheat to 13.5 million tons, citing logistical and security risks as well as restrictions on export rates in the new season. Ending stocks of wheat have been increased to 4.8 million tons, a 2.3 million ton increase.

Regarding corn, the forecast has also been raised: production is expected to reach 31.8 million tons, a 1.8 million ton more than the previous estimate. However, the export forecast for corn has been lowered to 22 million tons due to ongoing risks to logistics and port infrastructure.
