USDA Releases July 29 Grain Bids Bundle Showing Mixed Trends

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its daily state grain bids bundle on July 29, 2026. The report compiled cash bids, basis levels, terminal and export market quotes, and elevator prices from across the Midwest and export-gateway regions.

The Kansas Daily Grain Bids report showed that for West region ordinary protein wheat, the basis ranged from -75.00 cents per bushel to -60.00 cents per bushel, unchanged from the previous session. The corresponding price was between $6.5125 and $6.6625 per bushel, down 2.75 cents.

The Illinois Daily Grain Bids report indicated that terminals, mills, and processors in the Chicago region offered ordinary protein wheat at a basis of -20.00 to -10.00 cents per bushel, unchanged. Prices ranged from $6.4250 to $6.5250 per bushel, up 2.50 cents.

The Louisiana and Texas Gulf Export Bids report showed that for US #2 Yellow Corn at Gulf Coast ports, export elevator bids ranged from 100.00 to 105.00 cents per bushel over futures, unchanged. The price was between $5.5325 and $5.5825 per bushel, down 5.25 cents.
