USDA Releases Oilseed Commodity Report: Futures Settlements and Cash Bids
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its national daily report on sunflower, canola, millet, and flaxseed for September 1, 2026. The report covers futures settlements, cash bids, and price changes for various oilseed commodities.
Futures settlements on the Chicago Board of Trade showed corn at 521.50 cents per bushel for September 2026 delivery, with later contracts ranging up to 568.50 cents for July 2027. Soybeans settled at 1306.75 for September 2026, rising to 1341.50 for July 2027.
Cash bids for conventional canola at terminals and processors in Minnesota and North Dakota ranged from $25.06 to $27.92 per hundredweight, with most bids increasing by $0.76 to $0.89 dollars from the previous session. Year-ago prices for the same locations were lower, ranging from $18.94 to $21.23 dollars.
