USDA Reports Increased Prices for Corn, Soybeans Amid Declining Wheat
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service published its Louisiana and Texas Export Bids report on September 14, 2026. The report covers conventional export elevator bids at Gulf Coast ports in Louisiana for US No. 2 Yellow Corn, US No. 1 Soybeans, and US No. 2 Soft Red Winter Wheat.
For corn, basis values were unchanged across all listed delivery periods, while prices rose by $0.0175 per bushel in each case. The current delivery bid ranged from 60.00Z to 66.00Z cents over basis, with a price range of $5.9200 to $5.9800 per bushel and an average of $5.9500.
Soybean prices increased by $0.1100 per bushel for most delivery periods and by $0.1125 for December and January. The current delivery bid was 100.00X to 102.00X cents, with prices of $14.0750 to $14.0950 dollars and an average of $14.0850.
