USDA Reports Mixed Price Movements in Corn, Soybean Markets
The latest USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) state grain reports published on August 7, 2026 show mixed price movements across cash markets and futures settlements for August 6, 2026. The reports indicate that corn and soybean bids moved higher in several interior markets while wheat basis levels varied by location.
According to the USDA AMS daily state grain bids bundle, CBOT corn for September 2026 delivery settled at 439.00 cents per bushel, with December 2026 at 462.00 cents. CBOT soybeans for August 2026 settled at 1157.25 cents, September 2026 at 1160.00 cents, and November 2026 at 1177.75 cents.
In Kansas, terminal elevator bids for ordinary protein wheat ranged from $6.2475 to $6.3975 per bushel, down $0.1375 from the prior session. In Illinois, Chicago-area wheat bids ranged from $6.1125 to $6.2625 per bushel, down $0.1100.
Indiana barge loading elevators on the Ohio River showed bids for US #2 yellow corn at $5.2900 dollars per bushel, up $0.0225, and for US #2 white corn at $5.3700 dollars, up $0.0200. Country elevator corn bids in Indiana ranged from $4.1700 to $4.4900 per bushel.
