USDA Reports Southern Minnesota Grain Bids for August 21

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its Southern Minnesota Daily Grain Bids report for August 21, 2026. The report details cash grain prices and basis levels for the region.

Country elevators in southern Minnesota are bidding for current delivery of US #2 yellow corn at a basis of 46 to 35 cents under the September futures contract. Prices range from $4.3775 to $4.4875 per bushel, up 5 cents from the previous session.

The average price for current delivery corn was $4.4425, compared to $3.6225 a year ago. For US #1 soybeans, current delivery bids are at a basis of 50 to 20 cents under the September contract, with prices from $11.8950 to $12.1950 per bushel, up 3 cents.
