USDA Reports Southern Minnesota Grain Bids for August 21

Country elevators in southern Minnesota are bidding for current delivery of US #2 yellow corn at a basis of 46 to 35 cents under the September futures contract. Prices range from $4.3775 to $4.4875 per bushel, up 5 cents from the previous session.
The average price for current delivery corn was $4.4425, compared to $3.6225 a year ago. For US #1 soybeans, current delivery bids are at a basis of 50 to 20 cents under the September contract, with prices from $11.8950 to $12.1950 per bushel, up 3 cents.
