USDA Reports Steady Grain Prices Across Southern and Western Regions
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its weekly grain, rice and pulse market reports for September 14, 2026. The National Weekly Rice Summary noted that long and medium grain milled rice were steady in the South, with parboiled also remaining unchanged.
In California, medium grain milled rice was steady, while second heads and brewers held steady as well. Rice by-products, including rice bran and hulls, were also steady across both regions.
The CME Rough Rice settlements for Monday, August 31, 2026 showed a closing price of $15.25 for September (26), $15.725 for November (26), and $16.13 for January (27).
