USDA Reports Varying Cash Bids Across Multiple Regions

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its daily state grain bids report for September 4, 2026. The report covered multiple regions, including Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest.

Cash bids for corn in Kansas ranged from $7.1850 to $7.5550 per bushel, down 16.25 to 18.75 cents from the previous day. In comparison, ordinary protein wheat bids in the West region were between -80.00 and -60.00 cents per bushel basis.

The year-ago average price for ordinary protein wheat was $4.1250. However, it's worth noting that prices have decreased significantly since then.
