Uzbekistan's Yangiyul District Prepares for Autumn-Winter Energy Supply

The Yangiyul district in Uzbekistan is gearing up for the autumn-winter season by ensuring a stable supply of energy resources to its population and consumers.

A special headquarters was established to coordinate preparations, which included assessing the state of electricity and gas supply in all 51 mahallas of the district.

Inspectors identified 273 issues at households, business entities, and social facilities, resolving 269 of them. Current and capital repairs were carried out on over 346 kilometers of power lines, while 13 new transformer substations and 332 support poles were installed.

The natural gas supply system also saw significant improvements, with 43 gas distribution points modernized, 62 optimized, and 3.6 kilometers of the network reconstructed. An inventory of 283.8 kilometers of underground gas pipelines was conducted as well.
