Valley Gas Prices Continue Upward Climb
Gas prices in the Valley continued their upward trend this week, rising another 12 cents to $4.49 per gallon, according to AAA Arizona.
The price hike comes as road trips wind down and families prepare for fall routines, but elevated crude oil prices may prevent a seasonal shift at the pump just yet, said Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group.
In Arizona, the average gas price also rose 11 cents to $4.45 per gallon this week, while the national average remained steady at $4.10 per gallon.
