Valley Gas Prices Fall by 7 Cents Amid Lower Oil Costs
Gas prices in the Valley have dropped by 7 cents over the past week to $4.42 a gallon, according to AAA Arizona. This decrease is attributed to the drop in crude oil prices and optimism that the Strait of Hormuz will resume normal operations.
Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, noted that Arizonans are still paying about $1.19 more per gallon than they were at this point in 2025. However, gas prices typically start going down this time of year as demand decreases and people settle into their fall routines.
Gas prices around the state also dropped by 9 cents to $4.36 a gallon.
