Vance: Low Oil Prices Top Priority in Confrontation with Iran
US Vice President J.D. Vance has identified maintaining low oil prices as the primary goal in the confrontation with Iran.
In a recent interview on Fox News, Vance stated that keeping oil and gasoline cheap for Americans is the number one priority, followed by ensuring Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.
Vance expressed confidence that Washington will succeed in achieving these goals, saying 'I can say with confidence that, in my view, this will end with the United States in a stronger position with a denuclearized Iran and the return of the Strait of Hormuz to a state where oil and gasoline prices are stable for the American people.'
With oil prices currently below their highs at the beginning of the conflict, Vance sees this as a positive development.
