Venezuela Signs 25-Year Energy Deal with US, Boosting Oil Output

Venezuela's interim president Delcy Rodríguez announced a historic energy agreement with the United States, aiming to increase oil production by more than 1.5 million barrels per day over the next 25 years.

The ambitious deal provides for the development of 17 strategic oil fields and eight new oil blocks as part of Venezuela's energy sector expansion.

Rodríguez stated that the agreement is expected to help revive Venezuela's economy, increase government revenues, and shape the country's future development, with potential revenue estimated at approximately $209 billion if oil prices reach $65 per barrel.
