Venezuela Touts Vast Energy Potential to Foreign Investors

Paula Henao, Venezuela's new petroleum minister, addressed an audience in Houston this week touting the country's potential for energy investment. According to Henao, there are over 916 exploration opportunities awaiting foreign investment in Venezuela.

The country boasts an estimated 192 trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves and more than 300 billion barrels of proven oil reserves.

Henao emphasized that Venezuela is not just about its heavy-grade crude oil but has a vast, untapped resource waiting to be discovered. She encouraged investors to take advantage of this opportunity, stating 'It's an entire world waiting to be discovered.'
