Venezuela, US Sign Historic 25-Year Energy Deal with Oil Production Target
Venezuela and the USA have signed an energy agreement that will last for 25 years. The goal of this collaboration is to increase oil production to 1.5 million barrels per day, according to Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuela's interim president.
The project involves developing 17 strategic oil fields, with initial plans for production of 1.5 million bpd and potential expansion into eight new oil blocks.
Rodriguez described the agreement as 'historic' and stated that it will contribute to the revitalization of Venezuela's economy and increase government revenues.
