Rodríguez acknowledged the achievements of the oil sector workers, who kept operations running despite the challenges posed by the blockade. Analysts have pointed out that the illegal US sanctions and mismanagement have severely impacted the industry.
The acting president emphasized that the recent agreement with the United States regime will help reach production levels of more than 1.5 million barrels per day, citing the development of 17 strategic fields.
