Venezuela's Exchange Rate Gap Narrows Amid Rising Oil Production
Venezuela's acting president Delcy Rodríguez announced that the gap between the official and parallel exchange rates has narrowed to 12.3% over the past two months, down from a 30% difference.
This development comes as oil production in Venezuela exceeded 1.23 million barrels per day, its highest level since February 2019, according to Rodríguez.
She also mentioned that around 50 agreements have been concluded for new investments in over 76 oil and gas blocks.
