Venture Global Posts Record-Breaking LNG Export Surge
Venture Global's LNG exports surged in Q2, exceeding analyst expectations. The company delivered 127 cargoes during this period, a 42% increase from the same time last year.
The US-based operator has been expanding its operations, with four of its nine plants along the Gulf Coast undergoing expansion efforts. Its Plaquemines terminal is expected to add 1.96 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) to its feed gas capacity once complete.
Venture Global's second-quarter earnings report revealed that it missed analyst expectations due to lower LNG prices and higher costs.
