Venture Global Secures $3B Credit Facility to Fund LNG Expansions
Venture Global has secured a $3 billion credit facility to fund its liquefied natural gas (LNG) expansions, according to Dealroom.
The company's subsidiary, Venture Global LNG, entered into a 364-day revolving credit facility on September 2. The borrowings will be used for general corporate purposes and to support project costs for the CP2 and Plaquemines bolt-on expansions.
The new financing provides Venture Global with capital to cover expansion costs before these projects reach their next milestones, offering flexible near-term liquidity rather than long-dated debt.
This $3 billion facility ranks among the largest debt raises in its sector and geography, placing it near the top of US energy debt financings on record. The signal from this raise underscores continued investor appetite for US LNG infrastructure as export demand grows.
