Venture Global Signs New LNG Supply Deal with China Gas

Venture Global Inc., a leading LNG producer, has signed a new sales and purchase agreement with China Gas Holdings Limited. Under this deal, Venture Global will supply 0.5 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas to China Gas for the next 20 years.

The agreement is scheduled to begin in 2030, with LNG supplied from Venture Global's Louisiana facilities. This new deal brings the total long-term offtake between the two companies to 2.5 million tonnes per annum under 20-year agreements across Venture Global's portfolio.

Venture Global CEO Mike Sabel stated that the company is pleased to expand its LNG partnership with China Gas, supplying reliable and low-cost American LNG to meet the country's growing energy needs. Liu Ming Hui, Chairman and President of China Gas, added that this agreement further strengthens their portfolio and reinforces their commitment to establishing an international energy trading platform.

Venture Global operates several LNG production facilities in Louisiana, with over 100 million tonnes per annum of capacity in production, construction, or development. The company began producing LNG from its first facility in 2022.
