Vietnam Gold Prices Mixed as Global Market Sees Rebound
As of September 4th at 6:00 AM, gold prices in Vietnam showed mixed movements across various market players. Phu Quy listed SJC gold bars between 145.4-124.4 million VND/tael (buying - selling), with a buying side increase of 900,000 VND/tael and a selling side increase of 200,000 VND/tael.
DOJI listed the same SJC gold bars at 145.4-124.4 million VND/tael (buying - selling), with a decrease of 300,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The buying - selling difference is at 3 million VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed SJC gold bars between 145.6-149.6 million VND/tael (buying - selling), with an increase of 800,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The buying - selling difference is at 4 million VND/tael.
Regarding the global gold market, world gold prices were recorded around the threshold of 4,470 USD/ounce, up more than 100 USD. Analysts predict that the upward momentum of gold currently still largely depends on the USD, US government bond yields, and upcoming economic data.
According to technical analysis, gold prices are in the process of recovering from the low zone of nearly 4,300 USD/ounce and approaching the important resistance zone of 4,422-4,465 USD/ounce. If it passes this zone, gold prices may head towards the higher target zone around 4,570 USD/ounce.
