Vietnam Gold Prices Mixed as World Price Falls
The gold market in Vietnam saw mixed price movements on August 4th. The world gold price fell to $4,052 per ounce, a decrease of approximately 0.52% from the previous day's close.
However, some domestic gold prices increased, while others remained unchanged. SJC gold bars saw an increase in buying price by 500,000 VND/ounce, but the selling price remained at 141 million VND/ounce.
The buy-sell spread narrowed to 3.5 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 500,000 VND from the previous day's spread of 4 million VND/ounce.
