The gold price in Vietnam experienced significant losses this week, with SJC gold bars selling at 143-146 million VND/tael (buying-selling) after a decrease of up to 7 million VND/tael. This marks the second consecutive week of decline for the precious metal.

The selling price of gold rings from DOJI Group dropped by 3 million VND/tael, resulting in a loss of 7 million VND/tael for buyers who purchased on September 6th and sold on September 13th. Phu Quy Jewelry Group's prices also decreased, with the buying-selling difference at 3.4 million VND/tael.

The global gold price closed the week at 4,347.7 USD/ounce, down 81.4 USD from last week. Analysts predict a possible recovery in the coming weeks due to factors such as the weakening US dollar and falling US bond yields.
