Vietnam Gold Prices Plummet as Global Bullion Rates Rebound
Gold prices in Vietnam declined to their lowest level in nearly a month on Wednesday morning. The decline comes as global bullion rates rebounded after a three-day slump.
The Saigon Jewelry Company's gold bar price fell by 0.82% to VND145.4 million (US$5,599.09) per tael, marking its lowest point since August 19th. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.
Globally, gold rose 0.5% to $4,378.60 an ounce after a decline of 2.6% over the previous three sessions.
