Vietnam Gold Prices Plummet, Buyers Lose 8.2-8.5 Million VND per Ounce

Gold prices in Vietnam have taken a hit over the past month, with buyers losing around 8.2 to 8.5 million VND (approximately $350-$370 USD) per ounce after holding it for exactly one month.

The current selling price of gold bars ranges from 139.5-142.2 million VND/ounce, depending on the brand and location. At SJC, the buying price is 137.9 million VND/ounce and the selling price is 141.9 million VND/ounce.

Buyers who purchased gold bars at 146.4 million VND/ounce on July 1st are now facing a loss of 8.5 million VND/ounce if they sold them back to SJC today. This trend is observed across various brands and locations, including DOJI, BTMC, PNJ, Phu Quy, and Bao Tin Manh Hai.
