Vietnam Gold Prices Slip Despite Global Bullion Rate Gains
Vietnam's gold bar prices declined on Friday despite an increase in global bullion rates.
The Saigon Jewelry Company saw its gold bar price drop by 0.35% to VND142.2 million ($5,424.80) per tael. This represents a 0.85% gain so far this week.
Local prices are now approximately VND6 million per tael higher than global rates, narrowing from an over-VND10 million gap last week.
