Vietnam Gold Prices Slow Down, Waiting for New Signals
Gold prices have been experiencing a slowdown in their increase, waiting for new signals to determine their next trend. According to Phu Quy Gold and Gems Group, SJC gold bar prices were listed at 147.6-150.6 million VND/tael (buying - selling), unchanged in both buying and selling directions, with a difference of 3 million VND/tael between the two.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the price was listed slightly lower, at 150-154 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 1 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The difference between buying and selling prices is at 4 million VND/tael.
The price of gold rings also saw a slight decrease, with Phu Quy Gold and Gems Group listing it at 147.6-151 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 900,000 VND/tael on the buying side and down 1.5 million VND/tael on the selling side. The difference between buying and selling prices is at 3.4 million VND/tael.
World gold prices have also been experiencing a slowdown in their increase, entering a sideways phase after reaching a high level in many months. Despite profit-taking pressure, gold prices remain above important technical zones, with the Fibonacci 38.2% level and the 200-day moving average line playing a supporting role.
However, investor caution is increasing, and the appearance of tug-of-war signals on the chart shows that buyers and sellers have not created a clear advantage. If selling pressure increases and prices break important support zones, the market may enter a correction phase to rebalance after a period of hot increase.
