Vietnam Gold Prices Surge 1.8 Million VND/Ounce Amid Rising Analyst Optimism
Gold prices in Vietnam surged on August 9th, with gold bars increasing by 1.8 million VND/ounce to reach a selling price of 144 million VND/ounce. This rise comes after Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), under the Bao Tin Minh Chau brand, listed gold bars at 141-144 million VND/ounce for both buying and selling prices.
The difference between buying and selling prices remains at 3 million VND/ounce. Similarly, DOJI Group and Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) also listed gold bars with the same price increase of 1.8 million VND/ounce compared to the previous day.
For gold rings, DOJI Group listed 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold rings at 141.2 - 145.2 million VND/ounce, an increase of 1.2 million VND/ounce in both directions compared to yesterday. The difference between buying and selling prices remains at 4 million VND/ounce.
According to Kitco News, the world gold price this morning was recorded at $4,341.3 per ounce, remaining stable compared to yesterday. In their weekly Gold Survey, 19 analysts predicted a rise in gold prices next week, with 16 of them (84%) expecting an increase and only two analysts predicting a decline.
