Vietnam Silver Prices Surge by Up to 5.8% Amid Global Market Gains
The price of silver has surged in Vietnam, with domestic prices increasing by up to 5.8% compared to yesterday morning.
According to data from Ancarat Gem Company, the price of silver bars 2024 Ancarat 999 (1 tael) rose to 2.196 - 2.252 million VND/tael (buying - selling), while the price of silver ingots 2025 Ancarat 999 (1kg) reached 57.764 - 59.554 million VND/kg.
The prices were also higher at DOJI Jewelry Group Joint Stock Company and Phu Quy Jewelry Group, with a 33,000 VND/tael increase on the buying side and an increase of 34,000 VND/tael on the selling side at DOJI, and a 35,000 VND/tael increase on the buying side and an increase of 36,000 VND/tael on the selling side at Phu Quy.
The world silver price also rose to 59.83 USD/ounce, an increase of 1.13 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning, according to precious metals analyst Christopher Lewis.
