Vietnamese Custard Apple Sales Soar at Hanoi Event
At the 'Vitality of Vietnamese Goods' exhibition and livestream space in Hanoi, the 10th edition of the 'Lang Son Corner' program featured dozens of OCOP products, agricultural products, and specialties from Lang Son province. The Chi Lang custard apple stall was particularly popular, attracting a large number of consumers. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan praised the product's quality, saying it had a clear origin and was introduced directly by the cooperative.
The event saw over 1.2 tons of Chi Lang custard apples sold in just three days, exceeding initial expectations. The first livestream session alone resulted in nearly 100 orders, with over 300kg of custard apples being finalized in about 30 minutes of broadcasting. This is a testament to the effectiveness of combining hands-on experience spaces with livestream sessions.
Mr. Nguyen Tri Tuan, representative of Dong Mo Agricultural Production and Service Cooperative, stated that the results far exceeded initial expectations. The cooperative saw this as an opportunity to promote their products and sell a portion of their harvest during the peak season.
